Changing Landscape is an interactive installation inspired by world domination games like Diplomacy and Risk. The piece raises questions regarding globalization, interconnectedness, and the balance of power by juxtaposing the interface of a common childhood puzzle with a modular political map of the world. Changing Landscape presents an opportunity for pseudo-global interaction on a scale that facilitates a multifaceted exploration of these complex issues. What happens when the rules of the game change? When borders are acknowledged as a moving part of the puzzle?
